The Adventures of Madeleine

Well, we missed the candy gathering part of Halloween but still got to have fun dressing up! Thanks to Auntie Georgia for the fun costume.

It's not much, but here's a photo of Madeleine nestled among the pillows . She currently has an ear infection and is a sad little muffin. She's on antibiotics so we are hoping to see our mile-a-minute-baby soon....in the meantime we are enjoying all of the cuddling.

I know we've been slack in updating the blog recently. Madeleine has had a tough several weeks with her first cold, and then her first ear infection. So there's been a lack of sleep around here on all parts and no motivation to post updates. Once we are back to health, we'll get some more photos and videos up.

Wow, our little girl is a year old! I can't believe she is getting so big! We celebrated her birthday this weekend with family and friends. We had quite a big day with her first trip to the apple orchard, picking her first pumpkin and her party. It was a long day, but she had a great time!

As promised, here are more photos from Labor Day. Madeleine really is just a little ham!

Well, we enjoyed another relaxing Labor Day at the Lake. And Madeleine was quite the little social butterfly this time...compared to our last visit to the lake where her main activity was crying :-( Madeleine took her very first canoe ride with Grandpa, Daddy, and Mommy. She had a great time, and what surprised Mom the most was that she SAT STILL almost the entire time....unheard of for this little bundle of energy!
