The Adventures of Madeleine

Saturday was a big day for Maddie. She got to go to an Easter egg hunt, and then she got to color eggs.....truly a banner day for the little muffin. I was really impressed with how well she did coloring eggs. And a handy little tip ... a whisk is a great tool for holding eggs while you color them.

We took Madeleine to her first Easter egg hunt today and she has a ball! The event started with a brunch with Madeleine stealing the fruit off of all of our plates with no shame. She also got to make several egg shaped "shakers", a necklace and a bookmark. And after what I'm sure felt like forever to Madeleine, she finally got to go hunt for the eggs. Here are just a few of the photos we took today.

As per usual, we got so into opening presents that we didn't get too many photos. Madeleine did have a lot of fun this Christmas though! She delivered each present that was under the tree and really enjoyed it. And she would oh so politely ask, "more presents please".....it was so cute.

As you can see by the photos, the packing peanuts were a big hit!

We had a wonderful time at the lake this past weekend. Madeleine was wiped out by the end of the day, but she got to ride in a canoe and a speedboat, take a hayride, chase dogs, and generally run amuck!

This sweet little thing has many moods, here are just a few that she expressed while at a Labor Day outing yesterday.
