Memorial Day photos
By Kate on May 27, 2008 | In Holidays
We spent the holiday at the home of Madeleine's godparents, Rich and Georgia. We always look forward to our time at the lake, and this was Madeleine's first big outing to the lake.
Hanging out with Dad, he makes a good climbing toy.

Madeleine with her godparents, Rich and Georgia. She was less than thrilled by this photo shoot!

The view from the back deck.

Drinking my dad's water, it was good!

She decided to skip her nap, can you tell?

Family Photo
By Kate on May 26, 2008 | In Family
Here is our first family photo since Christmas taken today at a Memorial Day gathering. Today also happened to be Madeleine's 8 month "birthday". I'll be posting more photos over the next few days but thought this was a good photo of our family :-)

It's a tough job being a lovey
By Kate on May 23, 2008 | In Just Hanging Out
Madeleine adores her "loveys", but these days being one of her loveys is a tough job. I've found them (we have two and try to switch it up so she doesn't get too attached to one) thrown out of the crib and landing in bizarre places. Here's a photo of the recent torture her lovey had to endure.

Mommy....I love my dipes
By Kate on May 20, 2008 | In Cloth Diapers
I love the cloth diapers that mommy is putting on me these days. They are so squishy soft, especially after being in disposable diapers. And mommy has these really soft wipes for my bum in all sorts of pretty designs. She calls them "Quilter's Nappies" and says that they are her "guilty pleasure". I don't know what any of that means....but they are soft! And the best thing about cloth diapers......I get to play in the laundry!!

Really, I think this photo speaks for itself pretty well!

I took my Daddy for a walk
By Kate on May 11, 2008 | In Family, Outings & Adventures
I took my Daddy for a walk last week. I think he had a good time! I got to wear my "intrepid explorer" hat so all was well with me. I particularly enjoyed being able to bang my hands on my daddy's head and pulling at his hair. As you can see, I'm full of all kinds of personality these days!
